Henderson County United Way Resumes Full Operations

Henderson County, TX — August 20, 2024 — Henderson County United Way

(HCUW) is pleased to announce the full resumption of its operations after a brief

administrative pause. During this time, the organization took necessary steps to enhance its

operational protocols and ensure the delivery of services in the most effective and efficient

manner possible.

HCUW is committed to addressing the critical needs of our community, including food

security, health services, and educational support. The organization's multifaceted approach

ensures that no individual or family is left without aid during times of need.

"We are more than ready to continue our work and are eager to reconnect with the

community," said Greg Figueroa, President of Board of Directors, Henderson County United

Way. "Our team is invigorated and eager to advance our mission of supporting those in our

community who rely on us the most.“

HCUW will continue to work closely with local partners and stakeholders to address ongoing

and emerging needs within the community. Our programs, including the Food Pantry

Coalition, emergency healthcare support, and educational initiatives, are designed to tackle

the challenges faced by our residents.

As we resume full operations, HCUW is also excited to announce the upcoming community

events and resource fairs designed to provide direct assistance and information to the public.
